Tegernsee chalet is located at the entrance to Tegernsee Valley at the northern shore of Lake Tegernsee in the town of Gmund district Ostin.- Gmund and the lakeshore are 1.7 km away. There and in the district of Dürnbach are all kind of grocery and other stores as well as restaurants and cafes.

After coordination with the lessor a pick-up from Gmund Train Station is possible.

A 2 minutes walk from the Chalet (or 150 m away) you find an excellent restaurant. In about 1 km distance, at the Ödberg (mountain) you will find apart from an Alpine Inn, from spring to autumn a summer toboggan run and a tree top climbing parcours. In winter the Hillside turns into a ski slope with ski lift.

You can start many excursions to mountain tops and Alm (alpine) huts directly walking from the chalet.

The house with 120 m² is surrounded by a large, park-like 2,200 sqm plot of land including a privat mini-forest. It offers terraces and sunny spots with secluded seating. A romantic path leads downwards through the ample garden to an idyllic creek.

There are also several cozy places, a large wooden deck, a jetty and a goldfish pond. On hot days you can cool off in the creek or just hang out meditating on the terrace, unwind with yoga or just rest and enjoy the green oasis.

The park provides complete privacy however offers beautiful views of meadows, hills and mountains.

Parking space at the house and a bike shed is available. Your winter gear can be stored in the basement of the house.
